Cork Toys?
Is cork safe to be put in hamster cage? Especially as a chewing/foraging toy

Re: Cork Toys?
Cork isn't normally chewed, but the natural cork tubes & tunnels are great for them.

Re: Cork Toys?
I was thinking of poking holes in a piece of cork I have and stickings seeds in the holes so he might chew the cork to get to the seeds, that's why I'm wondering if it's safe to be chewed on
But if the toys are safe I guess it's okay?

Re: Cork Toys?
They never seem to bother chewing the tubes & tunnels but I'm not sure that actually encouraging them to chew it for seeds is such a good idea, better to hide seeds in things like toilet roll toys, small cardboard boxes or scatter them around the cage.
