Exclamation Is this bird toy safe

I couldn't help but get this cute bird ladder at walmart the other day. Is it safe though? I tested my new Hammy Dumpling with it and she climbed on it and stuck her head through it. I'm just worried about her getting stuck? She hasn't really done anything with it (shes interested in other things in the tank more) but should I be worried?

Open rung ladders aren't safe, your ham could probably slip & fall on that, if you want something your ham can climb on I'd stick to the usual solid bendy bridges.

I agree with cypher.
He could slip and fall and really hurt himself.

This ladder isn't safe for hamster due to being open rung - as it is difficult for them to climb and also not safe if they fall.
Modifications can be made to make the ladder safer though - by either weaving cardboard through the rung or gluing lolly sticks to the back using pet safe glue.
