Rodipet 120cm tank style cage

Rodipet have a new tank style cage - like the other recent one they made, but this one is 120cm by 50cm by 60cm tall (internal measurements - it's bigger than that on the outside). It's 159 euros (about £139).

I think it's great you can get 120cm tank style cage of that height (to allow for deep bedding). Not so keen on the flatpack look myself. And there is also the 115cm Living World Eco Habitat which is similar for a similar price.

Ooh I like this one's design! A bit on the smaller side for a Syrian IMHO, but still suitable. I wish rodipet items were easier to obtain in the US

Ooo it's so nice, I'd seen the 100cm version before I decided on the plaze but I still really like it though I think I'd miss the interaction through the bars with them. Serendipity you're always tempting me with nice cages lol.

He he - sorry. I like to see what's available as there's a limited choice of good cages - and hardly anything that size if people are looking for one. I do think they look a bit weird with the bits sticking out though.

You're right about the cages Serendipity, in some ways I'm glad there's not too many good ones as I find it hard enough to decide between what there is already but at the same time, nothing seems to tick all the boxes

I think the borneo cages are pretty good. A shame that they no longer deliver them to the uk.

I do love being able to interact through bars.

So 120cm at least by 50cm at least with a deep base for tunnels and a large door at the front and top for easy interaction and access.

It looks really good. I've bookmarked this page, in case Quigley continues bar chewing and I need to get a bar-less housing option for him.

Oh, that’s a shame. I like being able to interact through the front door. Are there any tanks which slide open at the front?

You can get custom made ones. They cost about £200 though! Custom Aquaria will make a tank that is 80cm tall and whatever width and depth you want, with the top third opening doors and the bottom 2/3 for deep substrate, and a glass shelf along the back, plus a removable locking mesh and wood lid on top. I was quoted about £215 for that.

The only other nearest thing is an Exo Terra Terrarium, but the biggest one is 90cm by 45 cm so less floorspace than a cage and only the same depth of substrate (due to there only being about 15cm below the doors. Not for chewy hamsters either due to the plastic trim and vents. They are nice though. But also about £150.
