Safe Bedding
Hi. I recently came across the Bed O'Linum Bedding from Bunny, and I was wondering if it was safe for hamsters.

Re: Safe Bedding
Welcome to the forums!
Not really sure if it's safe or not, but I know that linen is basically hemp, and there's an old thread here that asks a question about hemp bedding:
Flax bed?
Personally, I wouldn't risk it, especially since there are so many other safe choices of hamster bedding in the UK, such as Fitch paper bedding.

Re: Safe Bedding
It is safe, I did try it once but I didn't like it, I thought it felt really sharp, that was some time ago so it could have changed or I could have had a bad batch but if you want something similar then Hugro hemp bedding is good, I have used that on it's own but now mix it with fitch which is probably the best substrate around if you're in the UK.

Oh, I just found a review on it on Youtube, in case you're still wondering about it!
