Default Travel Cage

Hello! So I'm going on holiday in two weeks and I'm thinking about taking Doris to someone's house to be looked after rather than getting a pet sitter.

Since her cage at home is too big to be taken in the car etc, I was wondering if you have any travel/accommodation cages that she would spend a week or so in.

I've always just used a 10 gallon tank (though it's insanely tiny) as it's light and easy to transport. However, you could get a larger bin to use if you'd prefer that! I know there is a bin in the sterilite hi-rise series that would work well as a travel cage (it could be a bit long though) because it's very light and narrow. I'll link it below

Would the Alaska cage from Zooplus be okay?

I don't have the Alaska cage myself so I can't speak from experience, but since it's suitable as a permanent cage even for a large species like a Syrian, I'd assume it's a fairly decent sized cage! However, if it fits in the car, there is nothing wrong with using it
