Which Plasticote?
I'm going to B&Q after work tonight to get some Plastikote to do Teddy's wooden wheel. I notice there are a few different kinds. Which one is it I need to get?

Re: Which Plasticote?
You want the water based enamel, it will say on the pot & the water based pots have a plastic not metal lid so easy enough to tell.

Thanks He's got a few wooden bits in his cage - as well as his wheel he's got a wooden house and my husband is making him a platform out of lollipop sticks. Should we Plastikote everything?

Re: Which Plasticote?
I would, better to do it all now rather than regret not doing it later if something gets peed on or anything else you don't want on it!

Re: Which Plasticote?
The guy in B&Q said this is what used to be Plastikote. He said it is water based. Does this look ok?

Re: Which Plasticote?
Not that Plastikote. The one you need is in a small round jar. It looks like this.

Re: Which Plasticote?
I have no idea about that, the Plastikote most of us use looks like this, comes in clear & various colours.

Re: Which Plasticote?
I didn't think it was right! Thanks. Where do you buy it from?

Re: Which Plasticote?
I think most people buy their Plastikote from Amazon, since most hardware stores don't have the water-based kind.
