Detolf on 120cm desk?
Would the detolf be okay to be placed on a 120cm dressing table which leaves approx 21cm hanging off each end or is this not safe??

I don't think that would be a problem. It isn't a large overhang. I would use a rubber mat or some non slip tape to make sure the glass does not slide around on the table top.

It's unlikely to be an issue if you make sure it's sturdy and balanced correctly. Avoid stacking bedding on the edges and try to keep the weight in the center of the of the cage. Like souffle said, a rubber mat or stop will help to avoid sliding and such. All in all though, it's really no cause for concern

Re: Detolf on 120cm desk?
I've seen people have it so one end is pushed up against the wall, which adds a bit of extra support.
