Awe he's such a cute little guy! That's pretty frustrating that the seller wasn't truthful and made you go through that whole disinfecting process, I know I'd be annoyed! It's good through to see he's enjoying it

Sorry for the quality of the photos but I had to resized them and they are too pixelated after that.

Anyway... Now I can understand why people like these habitats, moreover if they don't know about the risk of poor ventilation and that kind of things. They are very easy to assemble/disassemble and clean. They give easy access to the ham and it's very easy to change the set up.

I wouldn't spend the money that they originally cost, because for that money you can get far better things, but I wouldn't doubt to get more at a reasonable price to have more options in his playpen. I wouldn't use it as a main cage either (because by itself it's too small and its ventilation is poor) but I wouldn't crucifix the people that uses them as an add on, specially if it's for dwarfs, because I really think that hams could enjoy it, and that if it used correctly by them (without nasty hoarding/wee habits and that kind of things) I don't see any harm in them using it.

Right now I'm not using the big cage much, but I'm going to keep it because I think that it would be a good introduction cage If I adopted another ham in the future.

Everytime I see it I feel very tempted to attach it to his tank. I think that I could make the tank his main area and in the habitrail loft a "playing room", but again, the tubes look too small. He looks too stuffed when he's in the joints and even If I sleep in the same room where he is and I think that I could hear If there's any problem I don't wanna take the risk.

I have a video of him in the playpen, but I'll post it on his thread.

I just wanted to give my opinion about the whole thing.

And more photos

Looks like it's working well in his playpen . I agree that at full cost not worth it but definitely a good buy since you managed to get it so cheap. Also, with the bigger Ovo Loft part that you're not currently using, as long as the wheel is not in, I think it would work well as a hospital cage or emergency cage which is always nice to have. Plus I am also fairly certain that you have pretty much killed absolutely anything that could have possibly been on it !

Great to hear how much Blacky is enjoying his theme park after all your hard work, he certainly seems to think it was worth the effort!
