With my trixie wheel I had to pull really hard until it came off the stand - at the beginning they are really hard to remove.
What bar spacing does your cage have? As when I managed to remove the wheel from the stand and it wouldn't fit properly onto my cage with 1cm bars - the wheel was very loose and was tilted so the wheel wouldn't spin as it was touching the side of the base - so I had to put it back on the stand.

I'm not sure it does attach to the bars (or intended to). I think some people have done it. I had one once and couldn't get the stand off either.

Literally just pull the stand really hard...

I had one briefly but it was faulty (wheel rubbed against stand) so it got sent back. I never did work out how to attach it to the cage bars!

Thanks for the replies. Have seen that a few people have had trouble when attaching to bars. I thought it would just screw on like the silent spinner. Might have to leave it on the stand because our bars are 1cm apart

I don't know if the wheel that you're talking about is this one.

This photo is from my hamster's old cage. He was on a cage with bars and I had to remove the stand. As others have said, it's hard because you really have to pull hard do disassemble it. Once it's done, you have to push the back of the wheel between the bars. Obviously you have to do it with the piece that protudes horizontally. I have a 1 cm bar cage and it was hard, I don't know If It will be possibly to attach on a smaller space. I have to push and push til I was able to attach it. When you're attaching it, it bends the bars, but once it's on the correct place it fits perfectly, then you just have to move the piece to on side, leaving it vertically, and it's done.

I don't know If I explained it well.
