Toys
(Hope this is in the right section, but am sick so having trouble navigating my way round the forum! Please move if in wrong place!)
Am making a list to Santa Paws to send to Sweep, and came across this site which has bird toys and things on. Pacifically I found this, and wanted to check. I am assuming it is perfectly safe for a hamster as it just contains paper, but wanted to double check! My brain isn't working today so sorry if it seems like a stupid question!
Foraging Boxes for Parrots - Pack of 2
I assume you just put some treats/food in the holes too? I realize this could be made using cardboard boxes, the Carefresh crinkle thingys and treats, but that would work out more expensive plus these are ready made!
That site seems to have other interesting looking items on, which I shall search through in a minute, but wondered if anyone recommends anything else?

Re: Toys
They should be fine.I don't think it would be too easy to make forage boxes that look so nice for what they are anyways!Treats and food and such can certainly be added to make an even more interesting toy
I don't think a detailed list of exact items would be too easy to come up with in a short period of time! However, checking the toy making parts section is a great idea and there are lots of different choices for shapes and such. They could also have some potential treats as well, but I'm not too sure and I haven't even looked at that section.

Re: Toys
They look nice if Sweep likes that sort of thing Northern Parrots has great customer service too - I've ordered for them before on behalf of an elderly relative with a parrot, and they've always been very reliable.

Re: Toys
Those are great, Zen has one & she loves it, I just removed a bit of the crinkle paper as there is rather a lot & hide seeds in it, lots of fun!
I've had quite a few things from there but can't remember them all, sesame sticks are a big hit with Zeki & Zen but not Tinwë (he's just odd lol!) these veggie treats go down well & last ages.
I got Zen's foraging pot here too, it may be small for a syrian though, they do a larger one but it's very expensive.
I'll come back if I can remember what else I've bought there...

Great, thanks cypher! Will check those out, and ask about anything else I find tomorrow. Sweep quite likes toilet roll tubes with treats in, so thought that box would be interesting to him lol
