Do I go for the maxi duna???
I have recently moved into a nice big 3 bedroom house after being in a small flat, and have discovered that I have room for a bigger cage for Mo.
She's currently in a Duna Multy in the living room, but the area that her cage fits on could just fit a bigger cage - the space is 100cm long by about 60cm deep.
Mo is in a tank style cage because she is a frantic bar chewer so my choices are rather limited - pretty much to the Zoozone 2 or the Duna Maxi Multy. I love the regular Multy, so i think I've decided to go for the Maxi Multy...but I have a couple of concerns.
The Maxi is 5 cm deeper at 37cm - this means the blue plastic base will be deeper and I am worried that Mo will no like being able to see out and may feel a bit too enclosed. I will put some platforms to stand on for her so she can see out - but do you think the deep solid base would bother her?
Also, this will be here second cage move (originally from a Peggy Metro to the multy, and now to the maxi) - is it likely to stress her out much? It's pretty much the same style cage but just bigger!
They are silly questions, but I still cant make up my mind about the depth and whether she'll mind moving again!

If she is happy in the Multy then I just leave her in there. It's a great cage. She may not like the deep base and if you put things to stand on she will likely stand up and chew the roof bars.

Re: Do I go for the maxi duna???
I do really like the Multy, but I thought to myself if I have the room Id like to get her a bigger cage.
The Multy seems a bit ful now she has a sand bath, a wooden house, a puzzle playground, a corner toilet and a corn tube. She doesnt seem to run around as much as usual in her cage so I worried she's feeling cramped. And I always thought it's best to get the biggest cage you can afford and have space for.
Although she does get alot of out time now we r in the house (a run in the living room, climbing stairs, running in the bathroom and then ball time) so maybe she's worn out.

Don't mention it! My partner already moans that I spend less time with him than I do the hamster already, with two I'd never spend any time with him :P
So I think if I did get a bigger cage (when I eventually make up my mind) the Multy will be sold quickly before I get tempted!!!
