Default What do you think?

I needed some more toys now that Xander has joined he family so off I went to P@H, I got some lovely toys, what do you think of them?

Firstly I chose some cardboard type toys that you have to build up, they are for climbing on and chewing, they were reduced to 90p each.

Then I got a crinkle activity tunnel, I thought that would be great as Xander loves to hide.

Lastly (and my favourite)I got a hanging furry tunnel thing, called a cozzzy hut. I got it from the bird toy area and I'm hoping he will love it.

Now allI need is for Xander to wake up and give me his opinion.

His first thought was "aaaargh new things" then his tummy got the better of him and he tentatively went to the food bowl, then he realised that the new things didn't eat small hamsters and he went exploring, he loves the furry tunnel because he can hide in there and I don't know where he is , the crinkle tunnel is brilliant for throwing round the cage and he likes to climb in the roundabout and peep out at the world. I bought him a treat ball and a cuttle fish to chew on today so he will need a hamster heaven like his big sisters to fit all his toys in soon.

Hehe he sounds a right little character - he's a cream banded am I right? I think I remember him looking like my Little Mo as she is the same colour

He's lucky to be getting a hamster Heaven - I'd love one for Mo but she's a dreadful bar chewer so she's in a duna Multy (considering getting the bigger version as have just persuaded the OH we have room for a bigger cage in the new house!).

I've always like the look of that crinkle tunnel - might have to invest myself

Arent they so much fun to spoil? It's hard not to

I just need to find room before I buy it as it will be my third hamster heaven (my syrian ladies also have one each) and I have a huge mouse cage which makes the hamster heaven look tiny and an imac fantasy with a couple of extensions for the russian girlies, so cages are kinda taking over the house . I also have a theory that if I fill his Cambridge cage with as many toys as I can, then start complaining to my oh about how tiny his cage is,then he will buy it for me . He is (I am reliably informed) a creme banded and he is definately becoming a right little character, he has already started running to the door of the cage when I open it and I don't think it will be long till he is brave enough to climb out onto my hand. I think the crinkle tunnel was excellent value even if he just throws it about .
