Alexander cage weight
Does anyone happen to know roughly how much this weighs? For the purposes of getting a courier to deliver. Google has not been very helpful!

Could you ring Zooplus and ask them?

Re: Alexander cage weight
LOL. My only answer is that it is "extremley heavy when filled, and not quite as heavy (but almost) when empty" which is probably no help to you! LOL

Re: Alexander cage weight
Haha. I checked amazon, as they sell it too, but there wasn't a weight either. However I checked similar sized cages so I think I have a rough idea. It was just a range I was looking for, not an exact weight. Saw somebody selling one and thought my super active Riff Raff would appreciate an upgrade

Re: Alexander cage weight
I have no idea either, but I reckon postage would be very expensive! Parcelforce might be the best option - up to 10kg weight is about £17 for Express 24, or £13 for Express 48 plus extra if you want insurance. If you go on their website you can get a quote by putting in yours and sellers postcode and the weight. I just did it for 10kg to get that price and I doubt it is anything like that heavy I think anything betweeen 2kg and 10kg is the same priceandit will be more than 2kg.

Re: Alexander cage weight
Would a new Alexander cage from zoo plus cost a lot more than the one you was out bit on?

Re: Alexander cage weight
It was going to be £40-something inc the courier delivery. I just ordered a nice new Barney from zooplus for £45 since its on sale just now It's only a tenner more than the Alaska atm!
