New Rodipet bottle holders
I noticed Rodipet has a couple of new water bottle holders/food stations
This one is water bottle and food bowl set into granite (for keeping claws trim). Looks nice but I wonder about stability on top of substrate and it's probably too tall to sit on top of a house. Should be ok on top of substrate but might need supporting underneath.

This one is ceramic and matches a round ceramic house type thing - out of stock so it must be popular!

The Syrian sized ceramic corner toilets are back in stock (after being out of stock for a long time. I've just ordered one )

And they seem to sell a giant hamster cushion now as well

Postage has gone up to approx £8.35 in Uk money now, so expensive to order unless you are getting a few things (postage is a flat rate whether you order one thing or a whole load of things).

Re: New Rodipet bottle holders
I really like that first granite one, had a very hard job restraining myself when I was shopping there last week lol! It would need to go on a solid surface though I think.
I think the other things have been around for a while now, the cushion is just so weird! I can't decide if it's fun or creepy

Re: New Rodipet bottle holders
Hello,
The bottle holders actually aren't new. They have been around for years. I remember having one ages ago, but it was too wobbly for my taste. I prefer to properly attach my bottle holders to my platforms for safety reasons.
The cushion is just odd. I honestly don't know where Rodipet is going with this, it's probably a marketing thing. I bet they are happy to be the topic of discussion even on non-German boards.

Re: New Rodipet bottle holders
Interesting! I have seen pictures of the ceramic one before but it has never been for sale in the last couple of years so maybe it's just back in stock Is the other one new? The one with the food station? The cushion is funny lol. More for owners than hamsters though so I see what you mean ha ha.

The water bottle holders and food stations have always been for sale, as far as I know. If you can't find something, you can ask me if you'd like. I plan to look in more as the German board sadly seems to be dying.
I'm afraid these are also quite impractical as the bottle falls out easily and if your hamster moves the bedding in front of the bottle away it will not be able to reach the bottle. I hope that makes sense. These things give me nightmares.
They discontinued a lot of nice things a few years ago, like the old Rocki set (Wohnfelsen) and the older granite houses.
The new granite houses have no aesthetic appeal to me, but then I normally either make my own or buy from "Knastladen" because I support the cause and the quality is absolutely great.

Re: New Rodipet bottle holders
Thanks! I've been looking on Rodipet for the last 2.5 years and never seen any of those things so wonder if accessing the website from the Uk is limited? Never seen the Rocki set! It looks good! And the old granite house - I wish they still made that.
I did wonder about that water bottle set. The granite base would need supporting. Also for our hamster the spout would be too high now he is older. I suppose you could adapt them a bit. I've had the wood bottle holder and it worked well until I started using different bottles
I have this one for our Syrian and found it great. I have it supported on legs
https://www.rodipet.de/shop/haeuser/...x26cm-7cm.html
Our Syrian used all of it until he got older and less agile, so unable to use the top entrance so now he just uses the left and middle sides And I cut out underneath the entrance holes to make arches so he didn't have to step over them now his back legs are stiff.
This is quite good too Big enough for a Syrian (but not the joining tubes).

I still like a lot of their items but I see what you mean, they discontinued some good stuff. Have you seen the nagariums?
Do you have a link for Knastladen please? Just found it on google actually! What do they sell for hammies? Ooh! Just found this page with houses Looks like they only deliver to Germany though

Re: New Rodipet bottle holders
Exactly, I forgot the most important thing. I don't know what I would do if my bottle holders weren't adjustable. I foster hamsters, especially young babies who need their bottles to be very low.
I have seen the Nagarium, so many people complained when it came out - how overpriced it is, how the ventilation isn't enough and so on and so forth. I say live and let live. If people don't like it, they don't have to buy it.
If you are asking my opinion, I would not buy it myself as I find it much too small and the price just isn't right, but 100x50 is still the minimum size and you could simply leave the lid off or modify it, so it isn't as bad as it is made out to be.
I would not recommend buying it, however, when you can buy this for a similar amount (minimal DIY required):
