Cage building.

I was just wondering, what equipment will be needed to build a DIY cage? I'm using the base of a set of drawers (on it's side) and would like to know what other materials I will require to keep the environment safe?

How big will it be?You might find it easier to just make the whole cage from scratch,actually,since that way you can make it where the cage has better ventilation and better access which in the end helps during cleaning and taming and also to add things to the cage itself,plus you can even make it a bigger cage!
