Habitrail OvO Tubes
I have a winter white hamster and I wanted to get her some tubes to extend her cage. I was wondering whether I should get her the Habitrail OvO Syrian Sized tubes or the Mini Trail tubes because I have heard of some Winter Whites not being able to fit in the Mini Trail tubes.

Re: Habitrail OvO Tubes
i have both tube sizes, the mini tubes are extremely tiny and when i say extreme i mean extreme im not quite sure if your hammy would fit them, but being i have only had syrians i cant be quite sure but if anything its safer to go with the bigger tubes

Re: Habitrail OvO Tubes
If in doubt just go for PVC pipe. It's cheaper, and you can get it in a size that you know is entirely safe. They also are more durable as well
How big is the cage though? If it is already small, expanding it won't really do much and you might be better off just making a whole new cage or buying one.

Re: Habitrail OvO Tubes
The syrian size tubes should be ok, most smaller tubes really are too small even for a Russian ham, be careful how you angle the tubes though as they can struggle to get up them if they'e too steep with those little furry feet slipping easily.
