Hello,
I currently have The "My Little Friends Grosvenor" cage, but my hamster Emily is gnawing the corner mouldings a lot of the time and they are wearing away.
Just under the front left moulding she has gnawed a little hole in the tray (about 2mm).
I tried to suppliment her diet when I first got her with dried mealworm and she real does not like them, so the only thing that stops her gnawing them is to put a dried mealworm on top of the moulding, and I've poked one through the tiny hole and it seem to be working at the moment but it's not ideal. She does have plenty of other things to chew on (pieces of wood, dog chews, cardboard tubes). Do any fellow forum members have any better solutions?
Is there anything I can patch the hole with that is hamster friendly?
Does anyone know where I can buy replacement corner mouldings and a cage tray for the "My Little Friends Grosvenor" cage?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
