Default Dyes on cardboard boxes?

I have a box that used to contain some cartons of smoothies. I was going to give it to Sweep, but am a little worried about the colored dyes on it. Will it be ok? This is the box : Sainsbury's - Please enable cookies or JavaScript (The bigger one as the small one is obviously the carton!) There is a smallish hole on one side - part of the design - which we could either cut bigger or if he wants it bigger let him chew? It is quite thick cardboard though so I doubt he will chew through it!

Default Re: Dyes on cardboard boxes?

If he's not a big chewer then it should be fine, maybe just put it in their cage for a day or two and see what happens. If he chews it then take it out obviously but if he leaves it un-chewed leave it in the cage. Be wary about it though, and take it out immediately if he chews it, just to be safe. Better safe than sorry!
