Default Cage improvement ideas?

I am constantly trying to improve my boys homes but lack inspiration!

Can anybody suggest any enrichment ideas? Current homes are below.

Joey (Robo)

Rupert (Syrian)

Both of their cages look awesome! I can't see where any improvements would be needed other than changing up chews maybe? I just love robos!

Lots of white toilet roll for them to make into beds (they may already have it in their beds). Deeper substrate and a bare area where the wheel is so it doesnt get blocked by the deep substrate. I block the wheel areas off with bendy bridges as a fence.

I love your natural look set ups and what lovely cages. So easy to see them. Love Rupert's platform and ladder.

I see Joey has a whimzee is he into it? My roborovskis took a long time to get enthusiastic about theirs. The syrians love them.

They do look good. You still have the nice maxi duna And I love the Trixie platform in it. The only thing I could think of is another platform like the Trixie one maybe in the back left corner of Joey's tank (if it doesn't interfere with his pile too much!) More as something to go under rather than climb on. And maybe a deeper digging area at the left side of the maxi duna - tricky though because of the wheel. Unless you had the wheel at the left end with a bendy stick fence across the cage, so you could have lower substrate at the left end and higher beyond it. But really it looks good anyway!

I was thinking of this one re the wheel/fence - I always remember how she did the levels - but it's a different kind of set up

Obi's natural set up is complete!

Thanks! We've got quite a collection and I swap them up often

I was so excited when I got the Maxi Duna as I thought I could fill it with loads of substrate for digging, but Rupert isn't in the slightest bit interested! Hence his substrate isn't too deep - I'll definitely try adding some extra sheets of shredded loo roll though so they can add extra to their nests, thanks

That's a Greenie that Joey has, he's always chewing it (and trying to carry it around ). Joey doesn't like Whimzees but loves Greenies and Rupert is the total opposite - loves Whimzees but won't touch Greenies!

Yep, still with the Maxi Duna, great cage Rupert won't burrow no matter how deep I do the substrate, I tell him that the Maxi Duna is wasted on him I'll definitely try a bit deeper again though and see what he thinks!

It's tricky to go with higher platforms in Joey's tank as it has no lid! I'll see how high I can do without creating an escape risk though - thanks for the idea

Ooo must try Flower and Fairy with greenies.

The duna maxi is a great cage. Woodstock (syrian) doesnt show any interest in digging either so its wasted on him. Great for hamster watching though.
