I wouldn't call my Barney cage base flimsy, but it isn't quite as thick as the Savic one I had.
They can still chew at the bars on the roof of a Maxi Duna or Zoozone as well, but a Maxi Duna does sound like a good option. When they're in a bigger cage with levels though, like the Alexander or Barney, there is so much space for enrichment in there that it's much less likely she would bar chew. Plus the bars are narrow ones and not so easy to chew, which helps. Our Syrian only did it twice and both times he was under stress. The first time his cage was too small, the second time he'd had a change of environment after we'd been on holiday. So more enrichment = less stress.
But a Duna Maxi is maybe a good choice if you are worried bar chewing may continue. At least there are less bars and not so easy to chew on the roof.

Willow does chew the bars quite a lot yes, but it's the base I'm more concerned about. She was in a Riviera Varraze XL previously and chewed through the base (waste of £40 lol) and so we moved her into a Criceti (I think that's how you spell it?) 15 that we found for £5 on Gumtree. She's had a go at the base because I can see her little teeth marks on the plastic but hasn't got any further than that. I'm not entirely if I'd trust her with a base thinner that Savic ones though. If she did chew through the base of the Barney, I'd have to find somewhere to put her (I think we have a spare cage somewhere) and then spend the money on a cage she can't chew.
I'd love to have the Barney but wouldn't want to waste money due to her chewing. Help!

Re: ZZ2 or Maxi Duna?
Did you get the one that Flower Fairy mentioned? Just saw your other thread at finding a Maxi Duna Multy on ebay.
