Default Question about moving hamsters cage

Hello!
I am currently having a debate with my mum and sister about where our two hamsters' cage should stay. My mum thinks it would be fine to have it in my bedroom during some days, my sisters on others and then moving it to the bathroom at night.
Personally I think this would be stressful for the hamsters but she doesn't believe me. Basically I would like some more experienced advice. If the answer is 'yes' (as in it is too stressful) there is another room we can keep them in so I just need some facts to persuade my mum. (Unless of course it won't stress them out).

I'd leave it in one place, making sure that one place is warm enough, draft free and a suitable environment for a hamster. Personally I do not think a bathroom is an appropriate place for a hamster as it is often a room that gets quite cold at night, and also one of the rooms most likely to be regularly full of cleaning stuff. Also, if the hamster escapes it's cage, the bathroom almost always has a lot of nooks and crannies they can disappear into!

I think moving them around all the time is stressful for them. Bedrooms are often not the best place for them as they can be very noisy creatures at night - one of mine lived in my bedroom for two weeks and it was honestly worse than having a newborn baby!!

Maybe try and persuade your mum that the hamster has needs too - I'm guessing that she wants to alternate between your room and your sisters room so you're sharing it - you can still share him/her if they have a permanent and suitable location in the house.

Just as I thought.
we have managed to persuade our mum to keep the cage in the spare room which means it is quiet and clean as well as the fact it won't disturb anyone in the night (unless we have guests in which case we will move it).

Thank you for your advice/knowledge!
