Default Ferplast Duna Multy Set Up Ideas

James is currently living in a 45L bin cage but I've got either a Ferplast Duna Multy ready for him or a bin cage like May's. I'm thinking of carrying on using the bin as his play box so he'll be living in the Ferplast Duna Multy. Has anyone got or had one and have some set up ideas for one that I can use for a bit of inspiration?

Thanks,

Google shows some set ups if you put Duna Multy and click on images - this thread also has some nice setups of Duna Multys and Zoozone 1's (same size cage).

Zoo zone 1 please share set ups

I think I'd go for a subterranean house with a lift off top. Maybe one of these, or make one from a shoe box

ie stand it on about an inch of substrate and pile the substrate up around it with a tube or tunnel leading to the entrance door. Then you can have deep substrate for digging in the rest of the cage. You'd probably need the wheel stood on a shelf if you had deep substrate. If you're feeling flush, Rodipet makes some nice platforms. This one for a 20cm wodent wheel to sit on top of

Or this corner platform - although this would be too high to have the wheel on top

These seem popular with dwarf hamsters too, as hidey places and toys

Rosewood Boredom Breaker Small Animal Activity Toy Sleep-n-Play Cheese: Amazon.co.uk: Pet Supplies

I can recommend one of these tunnels too - I got one for Charlie recently and he loves it - he loves the hole on the side and went in and out of it loads of times and seemed to like chewing it too.

Sorry Fluffagrams, I completely missed this thread. I used to have Cleo in a duna multy & Hector lived in it for three weeks. Not at the same time, obviously

This is set up for Cleo, so not too packed as it's for a Syrian.

Cleo's again.

Cleo's first set up, when she was a pup.

And a dwarf set up for robo Hector. After I took this picture I added more cover. I rested a bendy bridge across the top of the house & sand bath to make a covered end and more loo rolls.

Thank you both. There are some lovely ideas there and some that will work in both types of cage too.

I'll post photos of whatever I decide.
