Cuprinol garden shades
Anyone else use this water based paint in thir hamster set ups?
It is well respected on the rabbits united forum as good for use with rabbits and i found a link that said it was ok for rodents.
Opinions welcome.

Re: Cuprinol garden shades
I've used it on the cage I built for my hammy - my sister has got through cans and cans of this painting bunny stuff! I find some shades need a few coats but it has a nice finish.

I like the finish too. Nice and water resistant and so many colours to choose from.

Yes there are some very nice shades - I went for white though!!! But I did a couple of shelves in a dark green.

Re: Cuprinol garden shades
I am going for an adventurous shade called country cream!
Woodstock has a willow coloured house. Looks nice.
I really like seagrass. White is good too..

That's interesting. I kind of assumed cuprinol would be a bit fumy as it's an outdoor product

Lol. That's what I was saying. I've never used it, but didn't know if it was safe either.

It's just for the wood items Scargirl, to help waterproof them if they get pee'd in/on. Like wood houses, or wood wheels.

Re: Cuprinol garden shades
Does anyone know if Cuprinol is ok on its own? Painted some things but was wondering if you'd need to add a layer of Plastikote e.t.c
