Hamster toilet issues!!
GAHHH!!!
My hamster uses a toilet but every now and again she will tip it over...any suggestions or ideas on how to keep it secure?
No screws though as I take it out every other day to clean it!

Re: Hamster toilet issues!!
What do you use as a toilet? I have a glass biscuit jar so would be very hard for my Syrian to move that.

oooh! I might try that! I just have one of the generic ones you buy at the pet store! I might have to get another biscuit jar then! She sleeps in one at the moment and doesn't move that around! What a great idea!

Re: Hamster toilet issues!!
I pinched the idea from LancashireLass, I think. The plastic ones are a bit small I think. I bought one for my robo as a corner sand bath but I hardly ever use it. I had it temporarily for my Syrian but i didn't really rate it. I like the biscuit jar because you can out more sand in for digging & then you only need to scoop the clumps out & clean a bit less frequently. or you can get ceramic hamster sand baths that do the same job.

That's another good idea! I guess I just like the idea of it being open and not enclosed. I might see if I can find a ceramic corner toilet/sandbath or I'll just pick up another £1 glass biscuit jar tomorrow
