How Long Does A Wodent Last?

Just wondered how long a Wodent Senior generally lasts?

My ham's had his for a few weeks now and I've noticed it's started to vibrate and move about a bit when he's spinning in it. When I cleaned it last week I greased the points where the spindle comes into contact with the wheel and ensured the washers were sitting with the raised bump facing outwards when I put it back together again and fastened everything in at the front with the hairpin-like clip.

I don't know how long they last but I know you can get spare parts for them. I've got the Wobust wheel and had a similar issue - it started juddering when Charlie was running in it. It seemed to be ok on the floor of the cage and I couldn't work out why. While I was checking it out Charlie freaked out at me fiddling with his wheel and ran behind it and kind of got stuck so I decided to hang it upside down from the top of the cage bars and it works way better now! I think it's a gravity thing lol.

I haven't got a photo of it since I hung it from the roof, but did make a couple of videos about it - here's the second one - the bit at the end shows how it is attached to the roof. I'd sent for the Wodent and Wobust and was trying to decide which one was the right size for our Syrian, who is huge! So a fair bit of waffling at the start, but the end bit shows what worked and what didn't when attaching it to the top of the cage. I preferred the Wodent wheel, but the Wobust was a better size for our large boy!
