Re: Suitable home for 1 dwarf hamster?
Oh I know there are alterations to be made, it's easy to create the ventilation, just want opinions on size really

Re: Suitable home for 1 dwarf hamster?
I make it 71x33cm (I think, the measurements are a bit odd in feet & cm!) which isn't that big, I'd say a bit small but still not too bad a size either, but with additional ventilation it would be ok.

Re: Suitable home for 1 dwarf hamster?
The vivarium would need ventilation adding as others say (some people have put ventilation squares in the two ends of similar vivs) but you'd also need to watch the gap between the doors - it wold be ok for a Syrian but a dwarf might get through the gap - they vary in size the gaps between doors and some are as much as 7mm. Good luck with the tank! Is there a phone number you could call them on?

Re: Suitable home for 1 dwarf hamster?
It`s frustrating when people don`t answer ad`s. Hopefully they will get back to you at least to let you know if the tank is still available or not. x

Re: Suitable home for 1 dwarf hamster?
It depends on where you live. In the states, the minimum amount of floor space is 360 inches. In the UK it is around 540. I have no idea why the big difference, but the UK is just a little bit more "strict" with their hamster owning. Hope this helped!

They never answered so having to start the hunt again! It's frustrating I can see them posting it on other sites now, and they are just not replying!
