Re: Let's see your cages! (From May 2015)
My hamster cage on 08/04/16 ( she hasn't been given name yet .. ups ) I can't decide on name !
As you can see I put a lot of treats and food in her cage , usually there is an extra pot with veggies or tiny amount of fruit. She absolutely love her food an each time I open a cage she comes closer to me for a treat ( sunflower seeds or mealworms - her favourite ! ). The downside is that she brings her food to her wheel and eat it in there . At the middle of the night that food makes horrible noise . I bought earplugs and they help me a bit . Do you think I should give her less food because she may get fat and its not good for her health in general ? Also , in this way could I stop her from storing food in the wheel ?

Darcy lives in a Savic Ruffy 2 which is 80x50x38cm. Everything you see is from Pets at Home apart from the wheel.

They look nice cages. And setups. You may like to adjust them slightly once you see how the hamsters use what's in them.

It is not cotton rope. If anything contains cotton or anything similar, I never buy it.

It is sisal string. I think it looks much lighter in the photo because of the brightness in my room from outside.

Here is Willow's cage.... she died in January but I've just been going through some old files of pics and found these so I thought I'd put them in.
