Hi, I have recently got a Syrian hamster I am worried her wheel is too small, I am getting a new one tomorrow, but in the mean time should I remove it or leave it in for exercise through tonight? Thank you in advance

If you're getting the new one tomorrow, i would just leave the old one in, so she'll still have something to run on, it shouldn't do her harm to have it one more night....
If she's anything like my hamster, you take the wheel, and she'll go crazy .
If I remove Toby's wheel he tries to escape by pulling himself up on top of his climbing frame and pushing at his locked screen lid that tops his tank.
( in his old barred cage, he'd immediately start bar chewing and trying to escape)

Definitely leave it in. You have a new one on the way and hammies need a wheel to run in. If it was causing pain right now he wouldn't run in it - but yes the sooner he has a bigger one the better, which you are sorting!
