sofiia_mikaela Newborn Pup Join Date: Nov 2014 Posts: 5	Is alder a safe substrate? Hi! I'm from sweden and here it's really hard to find pet shops that sell safe beddings. Almost none of them have aspen, carefresh or any other popular substrates but quite a few have alder. So, I'm wondering, is alder wood shavings safe for hamsters? I would be so grateful for any answers!
