Default need help!

hi, I just bought my first hamster named Boris two weeks ago, so I am still new to this and I have a question. it seems a though my cage is not very good quality and I feel that it is a bit too small. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good cages for Dwarf hamsters, I am going to buy a new one as soon as possible. I want sort of a simple looking cage (if that makes sense) that is big enough for my hamster to walk around in.

I've never had a dwarf but I see a lot of dwarf owners talking about the Zoozone cages? I think mostly for the fact they don't have bars to squeeze through :')

Some people do use the Zoozone for dwarfs but I think you need to mesh the lid with that one so that's something to bear in mind.
Personally I prefer to use barred cages, it gives you a lot more scope for adding things like shelves, ledges or hammocks etc & generally being a bit more creative in making a really interesting environment for your ham.
As long as the bar spacing is no more than 1cm barred cages are fine & dwarfs really do need as much space as a syrian does.
Zooplus have some really good cages like the Alaska, hamster heaven or alexander cage. I use an Alaska & hamster heaven (without the tubes, I really don't like tubes as they can cause some problems) & find both really good. Both have a large front opening door which is a big bonus too making it much easier for you to get to your ham easily or for them to come to you.
Hamster Cages | great selection at zooplus
