Default Cage update necessary?

I currently have a IMAC fantasy cage with no extensions (just the ground level and the plastic one) and i was wondering whether i should update to a bigger cage for my russian dwarf hammie, Bambi. She seems to be quite restricted in her cage; she is always running round her cage, back and forth, and climbing up the bars and flopping down. She has nibbled on the bars once or twice but not a lot. Should I save up for an extension to add to the top of her cage or should I get a bin cage or even an ikea detolf?

thank you in advance

If you're up for some diy then I'd say go for either a nice big bin cage or the detolf, personally I think either one would be much better for your ham.
They really do need a fair bit of space on one single level, if you want to put shelves or or more levels in your cage that's fine but the main space should ideally be covered by the one level which you can easily do with a bin or detolf.

thank you so much for the reply! i am definitely going to update my cage from the Imac because as you said it would be way better for one large level for her to burrow and thrive thank you, i really do appreciate it
