Angry Is her Bedding still safe?

Apologies if I am being WAY too overprotective/worrysome about this.. I'm just so terrified of hurting Pikachu in any way and want to make sure.

I bought a bale of Fitch and it arrived yesterday, for some currently unknown reason my Mum decided it would be a great idea to remove it from the nice clear thick bag it came in, and move it in to a Recycling bag?I'm assuming it is a new one..

Would this contaminate the bedding in any way, or is it still okay to use?

I'm waiting for her to come home from shopping to ask her why she did this, I just really don't understand what was going through her mind considering the clear bag was much MUCH thicker and more compact?!

I'm quite livid in all honesty, I paid £20 for this bedding and she's just done whatever she feels like with it? Maybe I'm being silly, but I just really DON'T appreciate people messing with my things. I'm 20 years old, I don't expect people to be meddling with my stuff.

I'm the same hun. Mum tipped my megazorb into a clear plastic box last year as she thought it'd be easier. Watching me do a cage clean however she realised it wasn't!
She knows now not to mess with it!

By recycling bag do you mean bin bag? If it WAS new I'm sure it'd be fine xxx

Mums just love to meddle don't they haha!

I can't imagine she would use an old one, I just worry so much is all haha!

I think I might have to get a storage box for mine now, since it's in such a silly thin bag now. I'd rather not loose any bedding from a split bag ! :c

Thats the worst! I keep mine in the original bag now but after mum tipped it in the box the first time I cut up an old milk bottle like a shovel. Worked well for getting it in the cage without spillage xxx

As long as it was a new bag and didn't have anything in it before then it should be fine. I bought storage boxes for my bedding stuff.

I use to get really mad when people messd with my stuff. But, that was a long time ago!
That's what's great about having my own place for 2 decades.
No interferring.
Say to your mum not to tamper with your stuff, that you're more than capable of dealing with these things yourself. I think your mum probably thought she was helping so don't be too hard on her.

I agree I think she just though she was doing you a favour by doing this, don't worry it will be fine I cant see her using a dirty bag to empty it into, if my bags split I have used food carrier bags and nothing has came of it, just explain calmly that you really didn't need her to do that explain why thank her for trying to help you but then say please don't do it again,
