Dwarf Hybrid and 13mm sq Mesh
Please someone put my mind at ease I have Penelope a Dwarf hybrid She is in a zoozone 2 with a meshed lid the mesh is 13mm sq. Tonight I put it a big guinea pig tube under her shaving to add extra room for her to play and now I'm freaking out in case she reaches the top and can squeeze out has anyone else used wire mesh this big to successfully keep a dwarfy in?
Yours faithfully worrying fuss pot

Re: Dwarf Hybrid and 13mm sq Mesh
It should be fine if she is not a baby. I have a Chinese hamster in a cage that has 0.5" (13mm) wide bars and he hasn't escaped. Also, your Hybrid is probably rounder.

I agree just so long as she's not a tiny baby you shouldn't have a problem.
