It might help if she can get some. Megazorb is used in stables. I was surprized at how small the pieces are. I would say "very suitable for hams".

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Yeah when she gets back ill see if she can get me a small bag to see what its like before buying in bulk. Ive read a few negative comments on dust and smell so would ideally like to see it first

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
I've emailed fitch and they said that they don't offer collection and it's all online only. Is this right?

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Nope. I've only recently just picked two bales up. About 2/3 weeks ago. I would give them a ring. I usually do just before i go to check they have some in stock. Last time i looked on the website it did say about collection.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Hmm. I asked how much it would be for me to collect it myself and they said that the 10kg bales are currently only available online. Is it the 10kg ones that you get?

I think its the 20kg bales for £8 that icklemunch gets, she mentioned them earlier on page 1

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Ahh. Either way their website says that they offer collection on the 10kg bales too. I've emailed them again asking if it's a temporary thing or something. I literally live less than a 2 minute drive from them so it seems silly to get it delivered.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Daft question. Would a 20kg bale for in the boot of a fiat 500?

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
They've just replied (given the time it is I'm quite impressed!) and the 20kg bales can be collected but the 10kgs cannot. Seems daft but I suppose I'll use a 20kg in time! And at £8 I can't say no to that. I'll pick one up after work tomorrow.
