Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
I like using Fitch and Megazorb, depending on which ofthem are available. I irder frm Amazon, but theycan work out more expensive due to delivery costs

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Siccofloor hemp from Zooplus is very natural looking and lovely and soft. Used it for a while but went back to fitch. For the price and quality you can't beat it. I love that its completely dust free. I haven't tried megazorb but was put off with the reviews on how dusty it can be.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
I used to use Siccofloor, but I did not find it that absorbant, and Im not too sure if I had a reaction to it (I am allergic to Connifer trees above all things, and plasters) but it was two years ago and I cannot remember. I like both Fitch and Megazorb, but Fitch is my favourite because it is so soft

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Ill have a look into siccofloor, although fitch does seem like the best option, its not as natural looking as id like.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Siccofloor looks very nice in cages, especially with a natural set up but it does not hold burrows well.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
Ahhh, do syrians like to burrow much? Or does it depend entirely on the individual ham?

Don't think there is much of a difference. Same thing i think, just read auboise is a little sharper.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
I live literally 5 minutes from Stalybridge, never knew Fitch existed. Might pop round and pick a bale up.

Re: Which bedding is cheeper?
My sister helps out at some stables near me, i never thought of asking her, will need to wait till she gets back off holiday now though. I might just order some siccofloor and see how i get on with that. Ordering my wheel from zooplus anyway so will get free delivery if i get substrate from there as well.
