Default suitable dwarf cage

I have set up my savic cambridge, but it looks kind of tiny for 2 dwarf hamsters, heres the pic[attachment=0:32wkbpcf]php3gLPpvPM.jpg[/attachment:32wkbpcf]

I am going to get a big wooden house and put it in the back left corner, facing right and put the sand bath tray where the house is right now.

The top platform is roomy, and I can fit the foowd bowl on the platform too.

Should I get a bigger cage for 2 dwarfs?

I would probably say that a larger flat cage is more suitable for dwarfs. It is best not to have a food bowl with dwarf pairs either as one can get territorial over it. Same with houses/wheels etc. You need to have two of everything. I would worry about the high hung ladders as a fall from that could lead to serious injury especially with a dwarf. Our own ones do not tend to climb really, preferring to burrow in deep bedding. The gabber rex you have ordered would be more suited to a pair of dwarf hammies.

Yeah, I was starting to get doubts about that cage. I was going to get a syrian and put it in that cage, but parents wont allow more that 2 hamsters, especially in a different cage!

I will have to put the cage in the garage and get it out maybe if I get a syrian in the future
My Gabber rex should arrive tommorow, fingers crossed
Thanks Souffle
