Default £30/£40 Budget, Cage Recommendations?

What cage can you get suitable for a Syrian within the price bracket that doesn't have a huge floor space (Barney, Alexander, Alaska, Mary etc ruled out) but it can be a little taller or have several floors.

I don't have the means to make a bin cage and in personally not a fan of them anyway.
This cage would only be temporary, at worst 3 or 4 months until there will be enough space for one of the larger cages mentioned above

All suggestions great fully received

I can't recommend any because at the moment I only have Roborovski hamsters, and their cages are too small for a Syrian, and my old Syrian had a cage higher than your budget. But I did find this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ferplast-Dun...1BCSN34NE8FT7Z

Its very plain but once it is filled with items for your hammy I am sure it would be ok The dimensions look okay to me but it doesn't specify which number is width, which is length and which is depth so I would check that

What size area do you have to put the cage on/in? That would help us narrow it down for you.

Thanks hammy harmony but I don't have space for a dubs multi

Redsky- footprint ideally not much bigger than a mini duna/duna fun I don't know the measurements off the top of my head but a little bigger than that would be ok but I can go taller. I was thinking maybe imac fantasy or something along those lines.

Cage will only be temporary for 3/4months at the most until we move (live in a caravan at the moment) then I will be able to get something much larger

I was thinking imac bingo? I had one for my previous syrian and don't remember it being that big but apparently it's 70cm long. Not sure how that compares to the mini duna though.

Will have to measure up when I get home. Ideally something I can stack my dwarfies mini duna on top if would be ideal

It's small in terms of floor space at 336 sq. inches, but the Savic Cambridge has 2 shelf levels which means you'd be able to use that space and I believe you can remove a level and be able to fit an 11 inch wodent wheel in.

What about the imac fantasy? I remember that was highly reccomended for syrians at one point

Hate to ask, but could you just wait to get the syrian or have you already got them?

The imac fantasy can house 8" wheels or a 12" flying saucer will take up most of one shelf if I remember right, but yes the fantasy can be in pink lol

Never owned one but I've heard a lot of reccomendations and they turn up secondhand fairly often too which is always a bonus

I wanted her a few weeks ago but OH said no. Today he suddenly changed his mind.
I was wanting an igor Fushsia or ferplast Mary but OH has strongly objected due to the lack of space in our current place of living.

My concern with her is she is not an easy hamster. She has bitten everybody she has come into contact with (myself included) and I would hate for her to be sold and then brought back or worse I've never met a ham that's been so scared of everything. I'm beginning to make some progress with her I've been handling her everyday when I have a spare few mins

It would only be a temporary slightly smaller cage (trying to find the biggest I can fit) then she will be upgraded as soon as we move. Plus I have lots of time in the evenings to allow her some free roaming time.

In your opinion kyrillion what cages would you recommend? Obviously I don't want to be cruel I want to give her the best I can
