Bin cages - photos?
I'm doing some research on the biggest floor space box I can buy to make Pippin a bin-cage and so far I have narrowed down the 100 litre supa nova from Argos, or the SAMLA from IKEA.
I was wondering whether anyone here has a photo of cages made from these boxes, and thoughts on how they are with respects to transparency? Direct interaction through the bars of his cage is something I have really loved and I would like the cage to be as transparent as possible so that even if we lose out on direct contact, at least I will be able to see him.
I know the best thing would be glass, but there is a portability issue and expense problem that I can't get around in my current flat.

I built a bin cage with the ikea Samla. Although not completely clear you can still see through the plastic here's a link to a thread with photos

Re: Bin cages - photos?
I've ordered a 133lt wham bin, which according to Yodel's tracking, has just been delivered, so I'll take some pics when I get home for you to see. Praying its arrived in one piece!

Re: Bin cages - photos?
I built my bin cage a couple of weeks ago, the layout of it has changed a bit since these photos were taken and Cookie isn't in it right now but she'll be back in soon and from what I saw while she was in it, she loves it.
