ikea spice jar for sand bath?
hi, i wanted to know what ikea spice jar you use for sand bath that are from ikea, i have bought casper 2 ikea samla boxes from ebay (£21 for each and one arrived damaged ..) and as it's coming into summer now i wanted a cooler sand bath for him as his one at the moment is just part of his cage. i seen in some of the lovely cages on here that you use a nice large jar from ikea i found some on ebay but am not sure this is the right one, the height is 3''

By the way, the spice jars you mentioned are fantastic for keeping treats in! x

Re: ikea spice jar for sand bath?
As said above, too small, but definitely could be ideal for treats!
If it helps, one of my hamsters has an old coffee jar as a sand bath. I don't actually like coffee, but I get my mother to save up the jars for me as she puts the coffee in separate tins anyway. I find the one I am using to be a perfect size, currently using it for a Dwarf, but could fit in a Syrian

Re: ikea spice jar for sand bath?
I have them for treats and they would definetly be far too small for a syrain but I think would be find for a Chinese or a small robo.
