Re: My Fitch came
Haha yeah, I had the same thought. I keep mine under the desk that Badgers cage sits on but will be getting a smaller desk or chest of drawers soon and I have no idea where it's going to go!

Re: My Fitch came
Ha ha, you all make me laugh! I have a bad back and live in an apartment on the first floor, my older daughter had to drag, push, shove it up the stairs it was quite funny. The whole time I was saying "yes but it's so much cheaper than the other stuff and will last me months so it's really worth it" She was not impressed! Then asked me so where do you want me to put it, hmmmm let me work on that one!!

Re: My Fitch came
I take it you would all recommend fitch?
I originally used hemp but it wasn't soft or easy to dig in and didn't hold tunnels well so I changed to megazorb, which STINKS! I have to open the bag and leave it in a room with the windows open or leave it outside in a sheltered area for a few days and it still smells horrible. I have a sensitive nose and can't take it, plus I feel so sorry for the animals having to live on/in stuff that I can't stand the smell off.
I am currently just using toilet roll but it needs cleaning out really often and again they can't really dig in it, it's more of a wiggle through it! Haha.
Does Fitch solve these issues? Can they dig? Does it smell nice/not smell at all? Oh and where do you get yours from?

Re: My Fitch came
I haven't used it yet, but it doesn't smell at all, it's quite soft, softer then carefresh. I have a very sensitive noise too, hay fever at the moment is hell! I can't answer about tunnel digging yet. I bought it online direct from Fitch manufacturers Fitch Recycling - Fitch Pet Bedding - Animal Bedding and I'm sure it's going to last months.
