Here my hamster's cage is.
her name is cyrus she is 2 years old in less than a month
but still has energy like a younger one

going to the vet soon.

Re: Let's See Your Cages
Well Olive is thoroughly settled into her ZZ now so I thought I'd share - I like this layout (we do a "hamster Grand Designs" quite regularly :P). And she does have more toys - they get swapped around every few days so it's not too cluttered in there.
And inside:

Re: Let's See Your Cages
I know the alexander pics that got bumped recently are really old, but i'm just wondering if in everyone's opinion if the shelf heights in it are okay, i always put mine lower for safety, but if i'm just being over paranoid i'd like to know so that i can set it up differently with more space next time...
also olive i love the ZZ!! *must resist urge to get more cages - will fill with hammies, must resist*

Me too - are they the Guinea Pig steps as sold on Amazon?

Am thinking of getting some for Peaches' Duna Large - I realised the main problem she had with the cage was probably the shelf, it was so low and I could hardly reach in to put the food on it! But these look better and more fun!

Re: Let's See Your Cages
The shelf is cheapest at Surrey pets I think and the house is a Jesper house from zooplus - it's really nice and roomy so warm in winter =)
