Great photo celmoy! The poor dog is thinking "Is that cage for me?!!" If the bar spacing is 7mm/8mm, it will be fine. Cages with 1cm bar spacing are usually the ones to worry about for Chinese or Robos. x

She's a very pretty dog she was quite confused about why I was making her lie next to the cage though! I think she thought there might be ferrets in it too...

The cage base is light grey, which I kind of prefer to white.

Thank you! She perked up when we brought the biscuits out

Does smaller bar spacing discourage chewing? I'm getting a Syrian as my first hammy and I think I read that somewhere...

When I had my Syrian he lived in a Savic Mickey 2XL barred cage with 7mm bar spacing and never, ever chewed at the bars. It`s not set in stone, but I feel narrow bars help. I suppose it depends on the Syrian and how attracted they are to getting attention! My lad was a big boy, but didn`t crave attention, so maybe that`s why he never bar chewed. x

It does look very sturdy and the bars nice and narrow too. The `gaps` at the corners don`t look any wider either, but a few cable ties around those would pull the side bars closer together. I`ve had to do that on some barred cages I had in the past, but those were wider bars anyway.

Really nice revue of the cage. Just hope they reduce the price again to let other members get one! x
