Default Barney cage question

Does anyone have a hamster that bites the bars on a barney?
Teddy has a barney and he don't bite the bars. But don't know if it is Teddy being good, or the cage as bars closer together.
Daisy and Rosie have Alaska cages and both bite the bars.

I might be getting another barney for Autumn but she bar bites. As soon as she went into the Cambridge (our starter cage) she started biting the bars

We've had a ham bar chew in the Alexander and the bars on that are the same spacing as the Barney I believe. They're a bit closer than in the Alaska but they are definetly chewable for determined hams.

I think Fluff chewed the bars of her Barney cage. I never actually saw her doing it but quite a lot of the paint came off, particular on the door, so I can't see how that can have happened unless she was chewing it.

Snow did in her previous cage, but doesnt in her barney. The bars are so close together i dont think she could even get her nose through to start chewing

Exactly the same as kyrilliondaemon - My female syrian has been in her Barney for a couple of months now and hasn't bar chewed once (yet!) but she did in her Alexander.
