Default ive got my hamster room

Well after 5 attempts and a lot of concessions and compromise I got my hamster room

Sadly I cant have one to 2010 and I got allotted a different room to the one I wanted smaller than I wanted but still big enough to have hamsters and a sofa and a TV in there so not to bad but it means that my current position of having a bedroom study lounge and hamster room rolled into one is going I don’t like it

As part of the compromise from my dad I got subsides for my naturalistic zoozone to keep me in sand.
And the cupboard under the stairs from September for use as cage and general hamster stuff storage.

Not to bad just glad I now have a nice down stairs room for my hamstery which will reduce my moult problems in the summer

Glad to hear you have reached a happy compromise there Matty. I am sure you will soon have a good set up and it will be a nice change for you too.

I have all my hamsters and other pet in my room, you get use to the noise while you sleep.

its so much better having the hamsters in a different room, The wheels , especially when they decide they are race hamsters .

My hammies are moved into the bathroom each night! I can deal with the Campbells except they are such LOUD drinkers so that wakes me up. And Sammy bar bites which drives me nuts. However, Frisbee is a little darling and is so quiet

I am a really light sleeper and suffer insomnia - so the last thing I would need is a roomful of hamsters whilst I am trying to sleep - I would just lay there watching them all night, never mind the noise!!
Glad you got your compromise Matty - you are very lucky to have a room to yourself and also a hamster room!

I am a heavy sleeper but often struggle to drift off to sleep at night and i'm really sensitive to noise so I don't think I could manage it either.

I'm quite tempted to try though to be honest as there is no-where else in the house they could be kept (live with parents and we have a dog) and i'm sure I would get used to the noise

At the moment me and my gf have 3 hamsters but they are all at her flat so I don't see them as much as i'd like so I get broody
