Most of my hams make a pitter patter sound too but my Towy girl runs so hard that the whole Wodent Wheel shakes and vibrates...she really gives it some!

I know what you mean ELC! Lola runs so fast the whole wheel bounces on the floor of the Gabber and makes a shocking racket. I asked Holly for her clothes peg tip and hooked it on to the shelf but she ran so fast it bounced off. She needs a carpet a think to muffle the noise. We had to shut her in the kitchen last night as she was so noisy. Everyone else does a sedate pitter patter. Maybe thats what you hear Matty. The claws clicking

Ruby is like that too, but she has a comfort atm. she'll be trying a wodent soon. she pounds on it so it lifts off the floor and smacks up and down

I do find that wodents only just fit in Imacs - if you have too much bedding (ie more than a really tiny layer) underneath they catch on the roof.

Also the Imac roof bit isn't smooth, so maybe if you moved it to underneath a higher bit that'd help?

Mine does make some noise but I LOVE it - it means Noodles likes it! And when she pokes her head out - soooo cute!

Mine are really quiet, except when the hams push them to the side of the cage so that they bang on the walls
