My only hope of arriving home with the same number of hamsters that I left with is that I'm not sure how many (or if any!) more hams I'll be able to fit in my Mini as I've just entered 9 in the show so the car is already going to be a bit full.

Another robo with a bleeding bum....

I've been doing hamster stuff non-stop for the last 12 hours and I finally sat down for a few minutes rest...then scuffling starts and its "bum check" time. I'm starting to look forward to work on Mon just so I can have a rest.

I think they've just got to "that age" where they're all jockeying for position. It isn't a cage change - they're still in the same Gabber they've always been in.

I've moved "bleeding bum" to my spare Rody - I think he's the boy Arnie was giving a pasting to last night, and it appears that one of his brothers decided to carry on tonight. I don't want him to be alone but I don't know which of the other 3 to try with him as I couldn't see who it was doing the bullying. So I'm going to leave him alone for tonight and sleep on it. Syrians suddenly seem so much easier. *sigh*

that's exactly what i thought when i was having my robo problems. they drove me to the absolute edge of my sanity. i couldn't move for cages tessellated accross the floor. that's when i advertised Summer for sale, who was taken by Internet_nobody on here and then i came home and found 7 baby robos in a nest! then i went on holiday and came back to a big fat preggo robo and another 7 popped out minutes later. that was a cry into your gin moment

Day (or rather Evening) 3 and I have yet another robo fight....another of the "footballers" has a bitten bum - he's just been moved in with last night's victim while I continue to attempt to track down the culprit.

Next time I buy new cages, I'm keeping it very very quiet and not tempting fate anymore!! Fate has a nasty sense of humour.

i dont blame you my chinese were the same when i didnt have the space they kicked of hopefully two more will be going to new homes at andover thougth meaning i shall have more space and more cages in reserve
