depends if they're a bar biter. none of mine are, so I have cardboard tubes ("roof run"), log bridges on chains, those bendy bridges with hooks, sputniks, hammocks... or you can make something of you own

I have a log bridge/ladder on chains for my Syrian Custard and he has no interest whatsover (and he doesn't bar bite either - he may be a yellow but he's a very good boy for his mummy!). But, I have the same bridge/ladder in my WW boys' Gabber and one of them LOVES it!! He's always popping up on top of the bridge when you least expect him.

ah, well mine are trained that no standing on bridge and waiting for mamma politely equals no coming out to play. So all mine wait on the bridge to come out

You might have to visit and help me train my hams then Bunsey! Custard's trained ME! When he stands in one specific spot on his Gabber shelf, that's when he wants picking up to be brought out to play. If you attempt to pick him up anywhere else in his cage, he runs away and hides under his shelf.

LOL! that sounds quite useful though really. At least you know when he wants to come out! I've never been able to train a male. For the girls I just put my hand by the bridge and the learn to step on it to come out. Then they just start waiting at the bridge when they wanna come out.

With Harvey he just waits on his bridge and stares at me till I notice, then i go over and lift him off it. If he's not on the bridge (rarely happens!) then I put my hand on the bridge and tap it and he comes running. Then I lift him out and smoosh him to within an inch of his life
