Default spare running wheels

What can you do with all those spare running wheels you get with cages? I have a big collection of them and don't just want to throw them away?

Take them to a small animal rescue?

I save mine up, sometimes I use them for dwarfs but have a rather large collection!

I save mine up and then take them to the RSPCA at West Medway, along with any other extra bits such as free samples of P@H food, choc treats etc etc

You could look in the Yellow Pages or use Google Type in something like small animal shelter or rescue and the location where you are, there is always somewhere that could use them

I would put a sticker on them saying suitable for dwarf hamsters or mice only as you don't want people using them for syrians if they are too small for yours. I am sure they would be gratefully received at a rescue centre though.

It's a brilliant idea, I've got tons and tons of wheels that are too small for mine. I'm going to get some stickers and find a rodent rescue!
