Aaah the waiting!

Having reserved and put down a deposit for a beautiful long haired syrian baby a week ago, I've now realised I can't collect him for another month due to living arrangements. All I have are his baby pics to look at ha! At least I know he's in the BEST of hands with the friendly breeder

Another good thing as well, is the fact that by the time I can collect him I'll have already got a big house for him and not have to put him in the starter house. Just can't wait to see his little face! Thought I'd share my pain with you..

Hehe. I'm so glad I found this forum for advice before getting him.

I bet your really excited about getting him hun and Im sure a month will fly by. He'll be sharing cuddles with you before you know it

Nah your not being impatient sweetie, your very excited and happy about your new addition to be. I would be exactly the same. I'll be bouncing on the ceilings if I was waiting to collect a new hammie

Updated! (I know I'm being ridiculous but I am excited!) I get to see the little boy in person in 10 days!! I'm just dropping off his cage so he can get used to it and to alleviate the breeder's cage needs before he can officially come home with me at the end of October. I'll be sure to take photos a plenty hopefully and post them on here (after I've asked of course). Wheeeee! I sound like a guinea pig right now.....:O

He's firstly going to be in a zz1 then I'll be able to afford the zz2 by the time I collect him. The breeder said he's still small, so hopefully he'll be alright in the zz1 for the time being. Feel guilty though - the more I think about it it just seems crazy to have a syrian in a zz1. After the zz2 (with levels added) I hope to make a cage with more height. I go to art school with lots of wood shop friends who could help with all that sort of thing hopefully! I love your set ups locorocopanda, really spacious.

Ha! I'm obsessing so much! The breeder said when I reserved him that she would have picked him to stay if she was keeping one - said he really stands out which is great to hear. Photos to come....

Well I need to keep everything well laid-out for Izu due to his blindness. I was going to put Claudio in a ZZ2 but I've decided next month I'm buying another Alexander and putting him in there. XD

I can't imagine how bad it is waiting for him. Lol

Yes I'm a professional ham central stalker! haha yes learning from seeing everyone's set ups and yours look nice and roomy. Ah claudio will be so happy in an alexander. I haven't seen one in person but they look massive.
Soo long to wait, it is bad yes!
