Default Struggling to find a good hamster cage

Bella is now 4 months old and is in need of a new hamster cage, we recently brought one from a pet store and got it home and realised the height of the cage was too low so I had to take it back. I have been looking online at cages and they are all so small!
I read the RSPCA guidelines for a hamster cage is 75x40x40cm.
Could anyone suggest a cage which is a good size and also not too expensive? I want to see Bella happy in a bigger cage
Thanks

The alaska from zooplus. Loads of reviews on here if you type it in the search bar.

I'm guessing Bella is a Syrian as the bar spacing would be too big for a Robo or Chinese. Perfect for Syrians, hybrids,Winter whites and campbells.

Its £39.90,free delivery and is a great size.

The Alaska would be a great size for a Syrian! The price is also lower than cages of the same size available, so I would go with that if it takes your fancy! There are also plenty of reviews on it here
The Zooplus Alaska cage review.

Have you considered second hand cages? I got my Hamster Heaven (80x50x30) from E-bay (very good condition with all the original toys, tubes etc) for only £10!

I put together some information on the top cages here:
Cage Sizes Comparison (Updated Jan 2014)

I'm not sure where you are but these are just looking at uk websites and the price range in pounds sterling.

Of course there is always the option of second hand (as mentioned above) or home made bin cages if you're on a budget

Second hand is the way to go for me. Ebay has proved very fruitful. Make sure you search for rat cages though rather than hamster cages and then be careful that it's not too high. Rats are a lot less clumsy than hamsters.

Also make sure that the bar spacing is just 1cm so hammy can't escape.

Good luck.
